The TDR Systems Integration Platform
Overview
Streamlining business processes and automating operations management is not within the scope of any one application, and any software that did everything would be prohibitively expensive to make and to buy.
Our solution is to provide a platform and control panel that allows users to integrate a multitude of open source business solutions into a single coherent system that complements the user's essential
operational functions and goals.
Why is Systems Integration Useful?
We live in an age of Information; good business decision-making is dependent upon a detailed process of gathering and organizing information. There are open source tools available for every area of business;
supply chain management, timesheet and employee management, project management, resource management, and so on. However, the applications that provide the management functionalities in each area are often
information silos - the data they generate is in a format that cannot be read or used by other applications.
The TDR Systems Integration Platform provides a starting point for solving the "information silo" problem by offering a structured approach to how data for each application serving an essential business function
is both stored and accessed by users. Additionally, the platform integrates server and service monitoring tools such as
Nagios and
Hyperiq to help administrators ensure the stability
of the infrastructure supporting the business applications.
Componenets of Successful System Integration
Components of the most basic integrated cloud-based system include infrastructure for storing data (databases), the server hardware, the web server and operating system
as well as the open source applications being run. The TDR Systems Integration Platform provides a web interface for users to access their data and for an admin to manage the services running the cloud.
We also help our clients migrate their data into the applications they have running through our platform, in addition to technical support for both application and
server management.
Our technical support includes helping clients develop business rules for ensuring cross-departmental data compatibility, as well as continuity and recovery strategies to protect against data loss in the event of malware attacks, physical damage
to hardware, network outages, and a host of other disasters. We can also advise
on the deployment of server security strategies for our self-hosting clients.
